Bruce Curtis founded Washtenaw Woodwrights, Inc. in 1983 as a custom carpentry business.  He has since grown the company into the full service home remodeling firm it is today.

Bruce leads Washtenaw Woodwrights with a high degree of professionalism.  He has served as Chair of the Washtenaw Remodelors Council and has been selected to sit on the Pella Window Corporation's National Remodeler's Advisory Board. With the company, he is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, the Better Business Bureau, and the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce.

Over the years Bruce has worked with numerous community groups, among them the Peoples Food Co-op, the Ann Arbor Community Development Corporation, the City of Ann Arbor Housing Policy Board, and the Christmas in April home repair blitz for disadvantaged homeowners.  He has also coached youth baseball. 

Bruce is the proud and involved father of two sons, Caleb and Nico.  Bruce enjoys camping with his family, softball, yoga, and shares a vegetarian lifestyle with his family.
